Description

This Scottsdale private vacation retreat combines 1 Main home and a Casita vacation home on large lot, a great place to stay for an extended family, couples, groups of friends, or golf trips. Delivering just the right combination of togetherness and privacy!

Inside this Scottsdale retreat, you will find it ideally suited for entertaining. The big house features 2 living areas and a movie theater room. Easily entertain your guest while taking in your favorite sports team or movie.

The Main House offers 6 stylish and well appointed bedrooms that are separate and spacious. The upstairs master bedroom features a 2 door walk in closet and beautifully appointed en-suite. Down the hall on the main floor you will find 2 queen bedrooms. Just across the hallway is a full bath and a half bath. Downstairs you will find another master suite with king bed and private bathroom. The next room is a queen bedroom with a full bath just across the hall. The last bedroom downstairs has 2 more beds.

The Guest House features a fabulous large kitchen area that opens up into the living area. Here you can play pool and just hang out away from the main house. The living area is beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and a 60"" TV. Each bedroom is separate and spacious. The first bedroom is a master suite with a spacious floor plan featuring a king size bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. There is also an additional washer and dryer located in the space.

Both homes each feature their own beautifully appointed kitchen with quartz counter tops and stainless-steel appliances. The main house seats 8 people for dining and comes complete with pots, pans, bake ware, utensils, dishes and glasses for indoors and out. There is a Wolf gas range and a large capacity Sub-Zero refrigerator.

Open up the large sliding doors and walk outside, where you can bring the inside outside. There is plenty of seating and is great for entertaining guest by the grill or fireplace. Enjoy an abundance of outdoor space with numerous sets of outdoor tables & chairs for dining, sunning and conversation. The private backyard oasis is perfect for laying out in the Scottsdale sunshine, floating in the large, sparkling pool or sitting around the fire pit with cocktails, catching up with friends. There are 3 putting greens located in the backyard for you to test your skills before heading out to the course.

Upon booking, we require all of our guest to submit a copy of their ID through our guest registration form. This is both for our security and is our standard procedure. Unable to comply would mean cancellation of your reservation.

We had a large group with teenage girls, they loved the pool, hot tub, and theater room. Comfortable beds and quiet spaces for everyone. Bummed the fridge broke, had to use the the wine fridge and walk all our cooking back and forth to the Casita which was a pain for such a large group. However these things happen and they tried to fix it. Repair people were promptly called out and arrived. They did the best the could.

My husband and I rented thus property recently for our extended family to stay in during spring training. The house was absolutely beautiful with ample space for our group of twelve. The downstairs movie theater was a hit as well as the fantastic pool, we paid the extra fee to have it heated and it was well worth it. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working during our stay. This was a feature we were really looking forward to using, we contacted the management team about this and they sent someone out to take a look at it right away. However, the maintenance person came while we were away and instead of looking at the hot tub they tested the temperature of the pool and said it was fine. After I reiterated that the issue was the hot tub and not the pool they promised to send someone back out that day but they never showed back up. I reached our the next day and expressed my disappointment again that the hot tub was not working and again I was told that someone would come out, but they never showed up. I sent an email to the rental management company regarding the situation and requested some sort of credit for the amenity not working and their response was that they were sorry and then blamed the hot tub not working on the inclement weather, but it wouldn't even turn on so it really had nothing to do with the weather.
All in all, it's a beautiful property, but if you have your heart set on soaking in the hot tub I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

The home was great but the decibel monitors made the experience much more difficult to enjoy. We received warnings beginning at 6pm that we were being too loud inside the home. It definitely put a damper on the experience as we continued to receive “warnings” when we were just enjoying supper and games in the living room area. Great property but would only recommend for a small group.

This home is beautiful and perfect for a large group. We had a slight issue communicating with the property manager pre-trip, and had something of a misunderstanding relating to an early check in, but eventually had it resolved at the very last minute. This took away from the experience to some extent, but I’m sure it was a one-off, and was in no way related to the house itself. I would recommend. The house is really perfect for a large gathering - we did a golf trip with a bunch of guys, and had a wonderful time.

Paid a fortune for disappointment after disappointment

Paid 3 days in advance to warm the pool arrived to 83 degrees not 90 -- they lied & blamed weather (was in 90s for 6/7/8) we checked pool heater was SET to 83, pool dirty. Someone came and reset it to 90. We finally realized we had to request a clean pool as well as heat. Pool guy set up ROBOT vacuum (& lowered temp -- we noticed). Sewer smell in basement (theater) traced to pipes behind curtain in basement bedroom closet plumber finally came near end of visit said it was a pump problem. Had to keep door closed and guest shared mother's bed. Tree branch dangling 2 feet over gas grill made grilling a challenge, much of tree dead wood close to many trees just waiting to catch fire; water hose spigot by grill disabled. Outdoor gas fireplace gas disconnected and capped, not usable (but cigarette butts in it; none of us smoke). Many beer/beverage cans tossed under hot tub; I sent a photo right away to management was told they would inform maintenance. Never removed. Wood burning outdoor fire pit too close to trees to be used safely. Refrigerator water & ice dispenser broken & had plugged defroster drain or something we complained more than once took video of puddles on floor after days waiting for someone to repair (waiting for someone to slip, fall and sue?) House sleeps 22 one dishwasher, (did not hold 1 load of dishes for six people), enough flatware for 12 people. Two dishtowels. Only 1 light fixture of four working in garage; one missing the light tubes altogether (just indication of their lack of diligence). Got reply to my 5pm text for help at about 1am -- woke me up. I mentioned the time and I was sleeping and she waited 8 minutes and texted again. Told her to leave me alone and she texted again. Passive aggressive behavior "just trying to get problem handled first thing." Or wake me up. Paid more than $25,000. Refund 3 days pool heat! Out of room for more... Sanctuary Spa casita next time!!

The property managers were super responsive. Check in was easy. The firepit by pool was so great at night. The separate casita with two bedrooms and casita was helpful to be away from kid noise in the morning. Only issue was pool was super cold in October because the pool heater was broken but kids still swam. Love the swim up bar!

Pictures don't do this place justice. There were 16 of us and we had plenty of room indoor & outside. The pool & golf area were where we spent most of our time. We would definitely come back again.

House layout was great, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There were 17 of us and never felt crowded. The pool was great with the out side bar. We spent most of our time out there. The putting green got plenty of use. Lots of outdoor gathering space, would have lots of room for a Corn-Hole game, wish there had been one. One suggestion would be to supply a wireless printer, so boarding passes and driving directions could be printed out. Convenient location to most everything in Scottsdale. would definetly stay again.

We had a group of 22 and this worked perfect! The maintenance issues we had were the pool was not heating properly when we arrived, and the ice maker did not work. They fixed the pool on the second day, but not the ice maker. Check in and out was very smooth. Really fun place to be! Would go back again.

This house was absolutely perfect! We were aww struck the minute we walked through the door! The back yard is amazing! We had plenty of space and had all the entertainment right at the house and never had to leave. The golf course a very short walk away and was fantastic for a jog too! Located near grocery and liquor stores, starbucks, and a little retail shopping too. Was right near main road to get ya where ever you wanted to go.
The house needs a deep clean and the appliances need serviced, and we had draining issues but I was surprised by the 5 hrs turn over time between guests. The place was clean and ready for us! Just dont look too deep or expect a deeply cleaned place.
The trash was an issue for us. The cans were full from the previous guest and we had no where to put ours and with such a large house and 21 people there was quite the pile.
The to-do list for departure was very small which made me feel like we should be doing more but I was thankful for the small list while on vacation!
The pool and backyard was just beautiful and love it the way it was but we had a toddler with us and the pool not being gated caused some anxiety for the mother. The doors from the house are all adequately locked and safe for children, but we all wanted to be outside. I certainly wouldn't want this changed because it would take away from the look and feel of the place and we will certainly be back! but did want to say this for other mothers. Also for the moms; the pool slide is concrete and is ruff and painful. The girls need shorts to cover their bum/legs. The suits will be tore up from sliding too so maybe bring the old ones.
The communication with the host was top notch and have absolutely no complaints!
House was great! Host was great! Backyard was great! Location was great! Neighborhood was great! Beds/pillows were great! House size was great! Parking in the garage was great! Really I could go on and on! Thank you, Thank you!

Why would you ever leave the backyard?! This was just what our family needed to ring in the new year! I would hate to guess how many hours a day our kids logged in the heated pool and hot tub. Many tournaments played on the multiple putting greens. The home was very clean and well stocked. The theatre room as well as the pool table and arcade game was a great change of pace when we needed some down time. I would highly recommend this home. Tony was also very helpful when we needed something or when we were looking for recommendations. Thank you!

The Desert Oasis exceeded my expectations. Had to find a property ASAP as we were already in Scottsdale and unsatisfied with the rental we had reserved. I contacted House & Home and spoke with Jennifer who was extremely accommodating from start to finish. Very happy with the property and location...kitchen fully stocked with flatware, glasses, plates, cookware, etc. Plenty of towels. House was updated and everything in working condition. Movie theater was a hit. Also pool table, arcade games, hot tub, pool with slide and putt putt. There were only seven of us. The property was amazing and everyone had plenty of personal space and activities. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful during the day but at night we were disappointed that the pool light and exterior landscape lights were an issue, did not turn on properly. TV in bar could utilize a 65 to 70 inch monitor for better viewing from beyond the bar area. Minus the issues, a great was place for a men’s retreat.

Vacation Rental by Owner while still technically true, used to mean this was someone’s home. The property is unfortunately held together w duct tape and popsicle sticks and is desperate need up updating. 2 coffee makers, only 1 worked and didn’t even have filters. We had to buy salt. Towel racks fell off in almost every bathroom on day 1. The lights in the pool didn’t work for the entire stay, and we found a LARGE piece of glass in the pool that I personally found that was bigger than the palm of my hand. There was zero cleaning materials for us to clean up after ourselves. Great “bones” but needs some hospitality put into it.

There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom and 3 garbage bags. Definitely not enough for the amount of people. Only, I would have expected a few more items in the kitchen for cooking, such as spices, coffee, etc. Refrigerator needed to be powered up and took some time to get cold, but the maintenance group was super attentive and looked into this.

We didn't know there was a regular coffee pot in the casita. Once we discovered that, we ran to the store and bought regular coffee grounds and just used that. The master shower handle was broken, so it never let you turn it far enough to get hot water. We just used one of the many other showers in the house. These were all minor enough that it didn't affect the great time we had. The theatre room was a huge hit as well. Would definitely recommend this rental for a family reunion.

We celebrated 7 HS graduates at this house for a week! Not one of us have any complaints about this place. The pool, once it cleared up, is AMAZING!! The swim up bar was fabulous and the Casita was just right for those graduates to stay in :) There could not have been a better place to stay than this one.

The house easily fit our party of 14. There was room for more! The pool area was so much fun for the kids, with the slide and the waterfall. They spent 6+ hours a day in the pool. Beautiful layout. Enjoyed the putting green. WE'd highly recommend this property!
