Description

Villa Moderna is a beautiful home located in Central Scottsdale. This seven-bedroom home was remodeled and is now available for family vacation.

We have blazing fast GIG-speed Internet for this home, perfect for your workcation.

The outdoor space features a brand-new pool and built-in hot tub. With a swim-up bar area and water slide, everyone will enjoy soaking up the sun while playing in the pool.

Enjoy the spacious kitchen while preparing your favorite meals. Open the doors to the outside to extend the kitchen to the grill area. Easily entertain all your family with this open floor plan.

Bedroom 1: King Bedroom ensuite with a walk-in closet. The master bath offers a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed with walk-in closet.
Bedroom 3: Queen Bed with walk-in closet
Bedroom 4: Queen Bed.
Bedrooms 2-4 share a full-size bathroom in a hallway - with a double sink vanity and shower/tub combo.
Bedroom 5 King Bedroom with attached bathroom that also leads to hallway.
Bedroom 6: Full Bed
Bedroom 7: Twin over Full Bunk
Bedrooms 5-7 share a full-size bathroom - with a private toilet room and shower/tub combo.

Pool heat is a separate charge and is applied to the entire stay. Please specify if you would like this added when booking so we can schedule it for your stay.

There is a charge for early check-in and late check-out. This has to be approved by management first.

Upon booking, we require all our guests to submit a copy of their ID through our guest registration form. This is both for our security and is our standard procedure. Unable to comply would mean cancellation of your reservation.

Management reserves the right to evaluate and consider every reservation made by locals, individuals under 25 years of age, and those booked the day before or the same day of check-in. As part of our standard procedure, we will require a fully refundable security deposit of $1000. The deposit will be refunded upon check-out, provided the renter is responsible for no damages or incidents.

Per city ordinance, we have noise-aware systems to monitor noise levels and exterior monitors of the property. Any tampering of security and systems could result in fees and eviction.

FAQ’s
Q. How far is the home from Old Town?
A. For those not familiar with the area. Old Town is in the southernmost part of Scottsdale. Our home and most homes you are looking at in the area are about a 15 to 20-minute drive to Old Town. Most rentals in the Old Town area are condos or resort-style hotels.

Q. How far is the home from the Airport?
A. Most people fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor. This is about 20 to 30 minutes from most locations in Scottsdale. If you fly privately into Scottsdale Airport, you are only about 10 minutes away.

Q. How does the pool heat work?
A. If you request to have the pool heated, we begin the heating process 24 to 48 hours prior to arrival. We set the heat to 85 degrees. This does not mean the pool maintains that temperature during the colder season. The pool heat fee is applied to the entire stay.

Q. Are there restaurants nearby?
A. Yes, Scottsdale is a big city and There are numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping all around within a short distance.

Q. Early check-in or late check-out?
A. Check-in and out time is set to allow our cleaning and laundry staff time to prepare the house for the next guest. If you request either an early check-in or late check-out, fees may apply. Check-in time is at 4 pm, and check-out is at 10 am.

We require a Damage Deposit of $1000 for all local guests. This will be released after check-out, provided there are no damages that the renter is liable for.

Our 4 families from Montana spent Christmas at this wonderful house and had a blast! The house was very clean and well stocked with whatever we needed. We spent most of our time out in the pool and hot tub. What a fantastic back yard!! Absolutely loved it!!!

The backyard is awesome, but don’t rely on the instructions to turn the pool on. Hot tub is not hot, it’s the same as the pool temperature (even if you pay). If you don’t need anything, you should be okay... But if you need anything fixed, good luck getting in touch with anyone. I called 5x and didn’t get a call back until I threatened to leave a bad review. Neighbors are borderline hostile, so don’t plan on partying here...

The house is absolutely beautiful! Everything was easy from beginning to end with the home! Quiet neighborhood. The only complaint we had were all the mosquitos! If you choose to stay here, BRING BUG SPRAY!

Leading up to the vacation and check-in was great. The property (which was owned by a company vs. individual) were very responsive and helpful. The inside of the house was clean and prepared. We took advantage of the pre-grocery delivery service to have the house stocked which was so helpful. When reviewing the outside of the house and pool area, it seemed like they had missed cleaning. There was trash ( few beer cans, bottle caps, half eaten food, chew bags, used bandaid) around the pool and sitting area. The pool looked cloudy so I emailed the property and told them about the trash and asked if they could come “shock” the pool. They said they would the next day but never came. The next day we also noticed the coffee maker, ice/water maker in fridge and can opener were broken. Nothing that we couldn’t manage but still disappointing for the amount of money we spent. The house would have been great if everything was clean and working properly. Pool and outside area is awesome. House has lots of space. Overall it was a pretty good weekend.

We recently stayed to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband and 3 young kids, and another family of 3. The house was perfect - spacious, clean, comfortable beds, nice big kitchen for cooking, and we LOVED the outside space with the pool, water slide, BBQ and lounging area. Unfortunately, it's very clear that the neighbors do not want a short-term rental in their neighborhood. There are multiple signs stating "homes not hotels" that are purposefully facing the property. The neighbors are not friendly and they are very bitter. The worst part of our stay was someone put a detective's business card in the door, which we found when we returned from having breakfast. It was supposedly a detective who worked for the crimes against children dept. We were SO bothered by this, and frustrated that someone would falsely report something just to scare us off (or else it was a fake business card). It ruined the last 2 days of our stay and my birthday. We were quiet, respectful, and definitely take good care of our children, so it was a slap in the face, and we feel a sabotage effort on the house as a rental. So that others' vacations are not ruined, we would encourage the owner to think about steering away from renting out.

But this would not outweigh the benefits of the rest of the house. House in nice residential area and located near restaurants and attractions.

My best college buddies & I have an annual football watching trip to Las Vegas. Due to Covid, we thought we'd switch up to a large home.
Villa Moderna was perfect!
1) There was a individual bedroom for all six of us
2) The kitchen was the best equipped of any VRBO I've been to.
3) The main room, big TV, comfortable coach seating for 7, was perfect for Sunday football watching
4) Hot Tub & Pool were awesome-Big Hot tub
5) Centrally located to golf, groceries & Starbucks (All we need)
In conclusion, we didn't even take real advantage of the awesome outdoor space. This home would be awesome, anytime of year!

We had a great time here for a girls trip! We made sure to add the heated pool option and it made the chilly nights in AZ much warmer.
All the rooms are beautiful and clean, communication with any of my questions were answered fast.

We were in Scottsdale and decided to extend our stay last minute. Payment/paperwork was easy to complete and within 24 hours we were in the house. The house was very clean as was the pool. Keep in mind this is strictly a rental and nothing is left after each guest, so there are no extras like seasonings in the kitchen, games, life jackets, etc. that you sometimes find in other rentals. All in all the house provided everything we needed.

We loved everything about Villa Moderna. It was incredibly clean and tidy. The layout of the home is perfect and has many bedrooms and adequate living space. The outdoor area really makes this home. We had a blast in the pool with the swim up bar and the waterslide. I highly recommend Villa Moderna. The home owners were also great. They contacted me the day of check in to let us know that the cleaning company was finished and we could get in 30 minutes early. They answered the first time I called to get any questions answered.
