Welcome to "The Block" in Bisbee, Arizona. The Block was built in 1912 and served as the sheriff's department for many years.

Room 6 or what was formally known as the Courtroom many years ago features 2 king beds, large wheelchair accessible bathroom and a private courtyard. The courtyard served as a holding cell in the early days of Bisbee. This space even has a solitary confinement cell in place. Step back in history and take in all that Bisbee has to offer.

We had a very memorable stay in the “Courtroom”! Room was clean, comfortable and worthy of some photos! Very walkable to everything in Old Bisbee as well as the Queen Mine Tour.

The first night was a nightmare, and I was unable to sleep comfortably. I was exhausted from a long day of driving, and when I finally went to lay down, the bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. There were no extra sheets to change the sheets ourselves, which was very disappointing; thankfully, I had a few blankets in my car that we used. I was refunded a small portion of the room charge; it was better than nothing. The room was great, but the patio area was a bit spooky. Just check your beds!

Interesting room on the main floor. Large room with tile floor and a large walk in shower . Auto toilet with heated seat.Room six which I stayed in has no windows but French doors to an odd private patio that’s actually inside .
Jail photos of frank Elvis and Johnny cash are on the walls since this was a jail at one time.
As you walk into the building there is a coffee area with seating. Location is walking distance to all the cool pubs and stores and the mine tour .
